The wind rose is a diagram that communicates prevailing wind direction at a given location. The term evokes an organic architecture, a harmonious habitat between human beings and the natural environment, a continuity between construction and terrain. Like the curved petals of a rose, the different valleys move under the touch of wind. It is the wind’s direction, the various gusts coming from the sea that the sea from afar, breaks, transforms and directs them back towards the sea itself.
Ecotone is the transitional space between two different ecological spaces. It is the space where two environments meet. Wind Rose is an ecotone space that dissolves the vastness of the horizon (sea and nature) into urban life (city and style). Incorporated into the building will be contact with the earth, natural light, water, wind, trees as well as perceptions of hearing, sight and smell.
